The Story / The Concept: I wanted to do a shoot that featured the models face and this cool face mask I made from some floral supplies. Heather has stunning eyes and her piercings would add an interesting contrast to what would have been a traditional beauty shoot.

Lighting: She was lit with a single light using a grid on the light, just slightly to the right of the camera position. A second light was on the background.

Camera Settings / Meta Data: exposure: F5 @ 1/160, focal length 130mm, ISO 200, exposure mode manual, Canon EOS 5D Mark II, lens EF 70-200 mm f/2.8. The data here is from a typical image from the shoot.

Basic Lighting / Metering: She was lit with a single light using a grid on the light, just slightly to the right of the camera position. That light combined with the very low ambient light metered at F5.6 @ 1/160. A second light was on the background metering at F4@1/160
